Marlin ISD Returns to School

“Legion,” the new bronze bulldog mascot, is standing guard and ready to greet more than 900 students returning to Marlin High School on Monday, Aug. 11.

The towering, muscular sculpture was installed in front of the newly completed high school building just in time for the first day of classes.ve “‘Legion’ is patiently waiting for the first day of school in the new Marlin High School,” said Superintendent Dr. Darryl J. Henson. “He’s ready to welcome back over 900 Bulldogs.”

The high school’s construction marks a new chapter for Marlin ISD, with students, faculty, and community members eager to see the updated facilities.
