Marlin Lions fight against hunger

Lions Club of Marlin members and additional volunteers were on the front lines again on Friday, Jan. 28, from 10-11 a.m. in the fight again hunger.
The Central Texas Mobile Pantry, partnered with this Lion Club at the Marlin High School distribution site, enrolled volunteers and helped spread the word about the program. Volunteers were Lions John Armstrong, Sandra Armstrong, Jay Elliott, David Lawson, Sheila Lawson, Kyle Simmons, and volunteers Rose Redding, Mildred Wilson, as well as Central Texas Food Bank Mobile Pantry volunteers.
The Mobile Pantry provides healthy food to those in need once a month. There is no documentation or eligibility requirements to participate.
