Marlin now has municipal prosecutor, but still no city manager appointed

Marlin is still city manager-less, following a Thursday, April 4, specially called meeting.
The agenda called for City Council to consider appointing an interim city manager, but they tabled the decision until another specially called meeting April 19 to have more candidates to consider.
The council did hire a new municipal prosecutor. After considering several candidates, the council hired Austin attorney James Parker of Parker Law Firm.
