Marlin PD Officer recognized

Quick thinking and swiftly responding to a medical emergency while on a call saved the life of a shooting victim. Marlin PD Officer James Crawford received the Life Saving Award at the Marlin City Council May meeting. With the uncontrollable bleeding from a gunshot wound, Office Crawford identified the need to apply a tourniquet, making the difference between life and death.
