Marlin is vaccine HUB location

This week, the federal government allocated 520,425 first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to Texas. There are several area HUB locations including one in Marlin. Y

ou may schedule an appointment at any HUB Location regardless of if you live in that county.

The HUB locations are:

Corsicana-Navarro Public Health District in Corsicana – 1,500 doses;

CHI St. Joseph Hospital in College Station – 5,000 doses;

Falls Community Hospital and Clinic in Marlin – 975 doses;

Bell County Public Health and Clinic in Temple – 3,900 doses;

Waco-McLennan County Public Health District in Waco – 1,500 doses; and

Providence Health Center in Waco – 1,950 doses.

According to the Falls Community Hospital and Clinic website, FCHC will receive weekly shipments of the COVID-19 vaccine. The next vaccine administration will be on Saturday, Feb. 6, at the FCHC Marlin Clinic, located at 307 Live Oak Street. The vaccine clinic will be by appointment only.

Please understand that you will be turned away if you are not registered for an appointment. No swapping of appointments, please register with the name of the person that will be receiving the vaccine. Please bring Identification, all forms accepted (DL, ID Card, Passport, Name Badge etc).

Due to high call volume, you may want to leave a voicemail or send a text with your name, telephone number and date of birth. You will be scheduled and called with an appointment date and time.

The following groups are currently eligible for this round of vaccinations: PHASE 1A and 1B: – Front line medial staff, first responders and last responders – Persons 65 years of age and older – Persons 16 years of age and older with at least one chronic medical condition.
