MCC hosting ExpressPath Open House in China Spring June 12

McLennan Community College will host an ExpressPath Open House June 12 from 10 a.m.-noon in the China Spring High School cafeteria highlighting an extensive list of certificate and occupational skills award options that can be completed in one year or less at MCC.

Individuals interested in taking the first step on their educational journey will find everything they need to start classes this fall. Representatives will be available to help new students complete the application and enrollment process. Interested individuals are encouraged to schedule an appointment for the Open House at www.mclennan.edu/expresspath/ to ensure proper physical distancing. Face coverings will also be required.

Research shows that furthering one’s education gives individuals an advantage and leads to promotions or higher-paying jobs. “We know that MCC plays an important role in meeting the specific education and vocational needs of our community,” Frank Graves, dean of workforce and public service said. “We want anyone interested in improving their career outlook with training or retraining to know that MCC is ready to help.”

McLennan’s initiative is part of the Texas Association of Community Colleges’ 300 by 300 campaign aimed at preparing 300,000 Texans for financially-stable careers in 300 days or less while building talent pipelines to support thriving industries throughout the state.
