Memorial Day Salute

Memorial Day was presented by the Falls County Historical Commission in partnership with the American Legion Post 31. The event took place at the First Baptist Church in Marlin at 11 a.m. on May 27. It has been the custom to hold the services at the Falls County Courthouse but due to preparations for pending renovations it was necessary to move elsewhere, with celebrations that followed at the Pavilion downtown
