Reskilling Grants available for students and workers affected by COVID-19

College students and workers displaced affected by COVID-19 and wishing to get back on track to earning a certificate or degree in over 70 programs offered at McLennan Community College may be eligible to receive $500-$2500 per semester in Texas Reskilling Grant funds. 

MCC was award $112,500 in funding by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) to help students that stopped attending classes due to the pandemic and would like to continue their education. The program is also available to displaced workers affected by COVID-19 needing to gain new skills to re-enter the workforce.

Individuals interested in benefiting from the program should complete the online application at www.mclennan.edu/financial-aid/reskills-grant.html. Funds distributed through the program do not require repayment.
