It is a public-private project between Apple-Sport Auto group and the City of Marlin. Apple-Sport General Manager Sam Sino was eager to enter a wonderful joint venture with city leaders. The five-acre complex is a full-scale local family entertainment destination, that will feature heated and cooled restrooms, a state-of-the-art computerized water sprinkler pad, turfed peewee soccer fields, basketball courts, a tennis/pickle ball court, a food truck court area, walking trail, and the revitalization the TUSA child’s playground area. At right, Marlin City Manager Cedric Davis and Stephanie Bond of Apple-Sport Chevrolet in Marlin speak at the event.
