Rotary Club in Marlin: New Club President, “Imagine Rotary”

The Rotary Club of Marlin recently had the privilege of inducting its 2022-2023 president, Letitia Estep. She states, “We have a great year ahead! Fellow Rotarians, it is an honor and privilege to serve as your 2022-2023 President. Thank you for the opportunity to serve in this capacity.” 

President Letitia Estep promises commitment in this role. She dreams big and offers fresh perspectives. She listens and takes action, all the while making clear to each Rotarian that he/she has an exceptional part in making a difference in the community and the world beyond.

Rotary International President Jennifer Jones, who made history on July 1, 2022, by becoming Rotary’s first female president, challenged Rotarians to “imagine that we can get up everyday and make a difference.” By that, Rotarians imagine a world with no polio, a world with clean water for everyone, and where every child has the opportunity to learn to read. Rotarians the world over imagine hope, peace, and kindness.

“With over 200 countries represented and over 46,000 clubs, we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues. Rotarians in Marlin and around the world are working together to promote peace, fight disease, provide clean water, sanitation and hygiene, save mothers and children, support education, grow local economies and protect the environment,” explains President Letitia Estep.

At the heart of Rotary Club in Marlin is a commitment to volunteerism. For both the volunteer and the community Rotarians serve, the experience can be transforming as Rotarians provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through a fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
