Shirley Piper Recognized

“Present her with her flowers while she can smell them,” was the gratitude in the celebration of Ms. Shirley Price. Marlin Community Service honored Ms. Shirley Piper on Sunday, March 29, at the BTW Alumni building for her dedication and timeless hours ensuring children are fed physically, spiritually, and emotionally while in her care. Beginning 34 years ago, Ms. Piper’s work through Faith, Hope, and Charity, has not gone unnoticed, including prepared delivered meals every 3rd Saturday. Many were in attendance and a delightful meal followed. Miscellaneous tokens of love and appreciation were presented.
