Shooting still under investigation

On Aug. 26 at approximately 12:52 p.m. Falls County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to assist Marlin PD with a shots fired call in the 500 block of Clark Street in Marlin.
Two victims were shot and arrived by personal vehicle at the Falls Community ER with non life threatening gunshot wounds. Both victims were treated and released.
The Sheriff’s Office conducted an immediate search of the area and was able to locate one of the suspects who was taken into custody without incident.
The case is still being investigated by Marlin PD.
