Student faces discipline after bringing air gun to school

A Marlin High School student has been punished for taking an “air gun” to school last week.
The exact punishment has not been confirmed, but could range up to expulsion.
The MHS office received a tip about the gun before school began that day. At no time was the gun brought out at school or used to threaten other students, according to a letter to district parents generated by campus principal Pamela Thomas.
