Thomas, Shorter arrested for armed robbery at Multiple area Convenience stores

Around 9:30 p.m, last Wednesday night, April 11, the Falls County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call for an armed robbery that had taken place at Marlin’s Exxon Convenience Store. Sheriff’s Deputies and Marlin Police Officers quickly arrived at the location within minutes of taking the call.

Shortly after arriving to the location, while investigating the incident, they received another 911 call about an armed robbery that had taken place at the Tommy’s Phillip’s 66, located between Marlin and Chilton.

Deputies, along with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens and Lott Police Officers, arrived at the second location to begin an investigation.
