Three-Vehicle Crash on Business 6 Leaves One in Critical Condition

Troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a three-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon on Business State Highway 6 at Farm-to-Market Road 712.

The collision occurred around 3:20 p.m. when a northbound black Dodge Ram pickup stopped in the roadway to turn left onto FM 712. According to investigators, a blue Dodge Ram pickup traveling in the same direction struck the stopped truck from behind, pushing it into the oncoming lane.

The black Dodge was then hit by a truck tractor semi-trailer traveling southbound, troopers said.

Both the driver of the semi-truck and the driver of the black Dodge were transported from the scene for medical treatment. One of the drivers was reported to be in critical condition, authorities said.
