Two vie for District Judge opening
In his own words...
Judge Matthew Wright of Rosebud is announcing his candidacy as a Republican for the open position of District Judge of the 82nd Judicial District, which covers Falls and Robertson counties. He is seeking this judgeship following the retirement announcement made last month by Judge Robert Stem, who is retiring from the bench after decades of dedicated service as District Judge.
Wright earned the rank of Eagle Scout with Gold Palm while in grade school, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Baylor University. After college, he worked for over 15 years in the private sector.
