We Own the Night

One to Remember

Downtown Marlin was flush with activity on Thursday, November 29th. Hosted by a number of local businesses, Ladies Night Out was a huge success. Beginning at 5pm, there was a constant stream of people walking up and down main street and the side streets. The hustle and bustle died down around 8, but the ringing of the Salvation Army bell could be heard echoing through until the end of the event at 9pm. People could be seen walking down the street was all different sorts of items. With multiple options of antiques, clothing, and home goods, it was hard to tell who got what items from which place. In stopping in to different stores, there were also a large assortment of food and drink options. The trade booths were set up all in the same area as well and it was a true family atmosphere around there, despite how cold everyone was. There were also a good number of gentlemen around, despite it being “Ladies Night Out”, so it really was a familiar, jovial evening of fun.
