Welcome to Rotary, Chelleye Crow PHD Education Curriculum

On March 4, 2026, the Rotary Club of Marlin, TX, was honored to welcome Chelleye Crow, PhD Ed Curriculum. Her induction affirms these unifying thoughts.

“There are several milestones that are life-altering. We go through life so focused on career and family, but at some point we realize that we must give back to society, to our community.

We believe that joining Rotary is one of those life altering moments. Induction into Rotary reflects one of the most important decisions ever made.” (Rotary International) Chelleye Crow is married to John, and they have celebrated 47 years of marriage. “We have two boys and two grandchildren. I am a Baylor graduate with BA & MA in English and Doctorate in Education. I am excited to pitch in and do my part in making our community the best it can be,” states Chelleye Crow.

Chelleye Crow was chosen for membership in the Rotary Club of Marlin because fellow members believe her to be a leader in her vocation and in her new community, Marlin.

Rotarians constantly keep before them the primary object of Rotary, “Service Above Self”. To a Rotarian, Goodwill means that our integrity and reputation allows us to go and do what others cannot. In short, goodwill saves lives. ‘Service above Self’ is the way a Rotarian builds goodwill, and with it our reputation and integrity.

Rotarians live by the 4Way Test: 1) Is it the truth? 2) Is it fair to all concerned? 3) Will it build good will and better friendships? 4) Will it be beneficial to all concerned? The Four-Way Test refers to better friendships, not more friendships. Better friendships are built on five attributes: respect, trust, reciprocity, shared experience, and mutual enjoyment of each other’s company.

Rotarians know that they will receive much from Chelleye in help and service which will enable all to be better Rotarians; and Rotarians most heartily offer Chelleye the right hand of Rotary fellowship.

Thusly, believing the principles and objects of Rotary will be safe in Chelleye Crow’s keeping and with the presentation of the Rotary Pin, Chelleye Crow became the newest member of the Rotary Club of Marlin and a member of Rotary International. She was welcomed into the Rotary Wheel - which faces inward for friendship and fellowship and outward in service to our community and to the world.
