Volleyball teams begin to wind down their regular seasons, as district play will soon close. Here’s a look at how area teams did this past week/weekend.

Rest time is over for several districts in our coverage area, as it’s time to get down to business with district play starting up. The next five weekends will determine who moves on, and who starts home.

Hello Sports Fans! Did y’all enjoy the week off – I wish I had. But got to tell you, the month of October is a pretty busy time for a bubbling cauldron. There’s witches here and goblins there and it seems like the Halloween season starts earlier and earlier every year. Fortunately for me, so does the Christmas season. Have you looked in Walmart lately? I mean Christmas trees in September? Really? So in another week or two, instead of Oct. 31, the hectic Halloween season will start slowing down as attention start to shift to the fat man in red (no, not Trump – he mostly wears blue).In the meantime, let’s get back to the fun stuff!
