Texas’ oldest, federated, and continuous garden club is The Community Garden Club of Marlin, established in 1923. The Community Garden Club of Marlin is a member of the National Garden Club, Inc.South Central Region and The Texas Garden Clubs, Inc.-District V Zone XI.
The Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Sterling C. Robertson Chapter, Waco, will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, October 2, at the Greater Waco Chapter of Commerce Building, 101 S. Third Street, Waco. The business meeting and presentation will begin at 1:00pm.
Rotary International’s “Creating Environments of Peace, A Peace Summit’ was held Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Southwestern University, Georgetown, Texas, hosted by Rotary District 5870 and the Rotary Club of Georgetown, Texas.
