Virginia “Gayle” Lawson

Virginia “Gayle” Lawson, 69, of Marlin, passed away Friday, November 25 in Waco TX surrounded by her family. Funeral services were 2P.M. On Monday, November 28 at Adams Funeral Home. Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation was held on Sunday from 2:00-4:00P.M. At Adams Funeral Home in Marlin.

Gayle was born on August 1, 1947 in Marlin to Dan & Mildred Stevens. She married Robert on May 21, 1966 in Marlin and they celebrated 50 wonderful years together.

The love of her life was her family and grandkids. She loved spending time-sharing and teaching the kids the way things were done the “old fashion” way.

Gayle was an avid baker and loved canning. She was the first to share with others and loved giving to those in need.

Her parents, and a son, Leslie, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Lawson; son, Lenny Lawson; grandsons Leighton, Lane, and Dalton Lawson; granddaughter, Laura Lee Lawson; sisters: Laurene Madden, Beverly Gooden, Dorothy Lawson, Kay Harris and Marsha Blann; and by her brother Danny Stevens.
