Ruth Mae Baker

Ruth Mae Baker, 99, of Marlin, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 in a local hospital. Graveside services were at 10am, Monday, May 1, 2017 in Hillcrest Cemetery with Reverend David Harlow officiating. The family received friends from 5pm until 7pm on Sunday, April 30 at Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Baker was born on September 24, 1917 in Thornton, Texas to Marshall and Rachel Holden Williams. She was a bookkeeper for 36 years retiring on March 31, 1980 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marlin. Her parents and a Sister, Jo Ann Ethridge preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, David Baker and his wife, Diana; daughter, Mary Hefley; grandchildren, Jeff and Michael Hefley and Ricky, Chris, Shane and Steven Baker; 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
