100 percent university approval for Class of 2017

It has been a long journey, 12 years to be exact, for the class of 2017. But, the time that they felt like would never arrive is now upon them. With elementary, junior high and now high school behind them they will all be setting their sites on much larger goals. Not only is one hundred percent of the class graduating, they are also receiving scholarships from a total of 23 different universities.
With a total of nearly one million dollars in scholarship funds. Which is a remarkable feat for any graduating class, but is in itself historic for the city of Marlin and the Marlin Independent School District.
