Craig Michael Ray, 40, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 23, 2017 Craig was born on December 8, 1976 and has been a resident of Marlin most of his life. Craig pursued careers in construction, the oil field industry and was working at L3 in Waco. Craig enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a true outdoorsman. He also enjoyed dancing, playing dominos, and from some accounts, played a mean shuffleboard game. Craig was loved by so many and with his “crooked smile,” was always the life of the party. He was a friend, brother and son to many. Grandparents H.T. and Ruby Ray, and Rev. Andrew and Marie Bratcher, as well as uncle Gary Ray, precede him in passing. Craig is survived by his mother and stepfather Carol and Bobby Bullock; his father Charles Ray; his sister and brother-in-law Catherine and Michael Wolfe, and their children Meagan, Travis, and Addyson; his brother and sister-in-law Carey and Tasha Ray and their children Carey and Stephen; his brother and sister-inlaw Chris and Lori Ray and their children Austin, Easton and Kaitlyn. His uncle and aunt Tim and Dana Bratcher, three cousins and their families, also survive him A chapel service for Craig will be held on Saturday, July 29 at 10am at First Baptist Church of Marlin. A graveside service will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin.
