Scaman attends training conference

Sheriff Ricky Scaman recently attended the Sheriffs’ Association of Texas 138th Annual Training Conference at the Gaylord Texan Resort Convention Center in Grapevine, July 29, 2017 through August 1, 2017.
This year, participants received training on a variety of topics including: State Agency Mandates, Social Media Education, Parole Warrants, Mail Fraud, Immigration Issues, Mental Health Issues in Jails, New Forensic Techniques used in Investigations,
Court Security, Texas Public Safety Broadband Program, Border Initiatives, and Securing Our Communities.
