Clyde Junior Nutt, 83, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on October 5, 2017. The family received friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 8, at Adams Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 9, 2017 at Adams Funeral Home. Burial followed in Calvary Cemetery. Clyde was born July 27, 1934 in Reagan, Texas to Clyde Cleo and Dorothy Louise (Wirtz) Nutt. He attended Reagan Elementary and later attended Marlin Schools graduating in 1953. Some of his fondest childhood memories were spending time with his older sister, Pauline, and friends in Rosedale. Clyde married the love of his life, Wandalene Lucas, on August 26, 1956. To that union they had four children whom he was very proud of. Clyde was a plumber by trade and upon completion of his plumbing certifications he made the highest score on the test. He later became a Master Plumber and owned Nutt Plumbing of Marlin. Clyde was the Red Cross Coordinator of Falls County and also a member of the board of directors of the Marlin Little League Baseball. Clyde was a huge Baylor Lady Bears fan. His favorite show to watch was Dancing with the Stars. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Cleo and Dorothy Louise (Wirtz) Nutt; wife, Wandalene and son, Terry Nutt. Survivors include his children, Larry Nutt, Nancy Nutt and Judy Venegas and husband, Davie; sister, Pauline Elizabeth Malone; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He is also survived by his fur babies, Sarah Jane and Suzie Q. Memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
