Construction starts on new fire station

Construction is underway for Marlin Volunteer Fire Department Station #2 in Perry. It will be located on State Highway 6 North, between FM 1240 and CR 120A. This station will house two trucks which will help reduce the response times to Perry, Otto and other surrounding communities. This station was partially made possible by monetary donations from Falls County ESD 1 and from the citizens and a generous land donation by Steve Powell in memory of his father.
