Sarah Elizabeth McKee

Sarah Elizabeth McKee, age 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2022. She was born on March 10, 1933, in Eddy. She was a long-time resident of Plaquemines Parish, La. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sidney James Frugia, and her loving companion, Cecil F. Carter Jr.; her parents, John Wesley McKee and Audrey McKee; her brother, Hubert Addison McKee (Corrine); her nephew David McKee (Coleen), her son, Stanley James Frugia Sr. (Connie), as well as her grandchildren, Alissa Suzan Frugia, Pamila LaDawn Frugia, Stanley James Frugia Jr. and Renee Frugia. 

Sarah is survived by her daughter Susan Donnaud; her grandchildren, April Ragas (Albert), Tommy Gable (Yvonne Yvette), and Jennifer Gable, along with many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and great great grandchildren. 

Sarah was the museum curator at Fort Jackson in Triumph, La., for over 35 years. She loved crossword puzzles and reading the history of Fort Jackson as well as Plaquemines Parish history.
