City of Marlin discontinues bulk water sales

The City of Marlin announced a temporary discontinuation of bulk water sales on June 3. 

In an announcement the city took a moment to elaborate on about the temporary discontinuation of bulk water sales. 

The decision to temporarily discontinue bulk water sales will not affect homes, businesses or other facilities supplied by the City of Marlin water system. The only individuals and/or businesses affected will be those who wish to fill tank trailers or other mobile water containers at Fire Station 1 (excluding firefighting vehicles). This decision was made due to ongoing statewide drought conditions and is intended to aid in the conservation of our city’s water supply. 

In summary, citizens will not be affected unless you plan to fill a mobile water container (i.e., tank truck) at Fire Station 1.
