Update from City of Marlin (Feb. 2, 2023)

The Marlin water plant is also temporarily down. Oncor is currently working to restore power. They were on back up generator since they lost power around midnight. The backup generator went down around 6:30 a.m. The MWTP generator was serviced last month by: Waukesha Pearce Industrial Generators. They are currently en route to assess and service the generator. Citizens will be updated when power is restored.
We currently have an adequate supply of water in the towers but please ration for today.
