Tuesday, Feb. 21 from 5-7 p.m. - Pancake Supper (benefiting Rocky Hill 4H and First Methodist Church Marlin)
Both events will be held in the fellowship hall at 411 Coleman Street, Marlin.

BRUSH PICK UP
The city brush dump near the City Lake wll be open daily during business hours for people to drop off limbs. There will be one free limb pick-up per address. City residents must request a workorder through the water department by calling (254) 883-1450 and selecte prompt 3. Work orders will only be taken until Feb. 24 at 5 p.m.
KC Fish fry
Westphalia Knights of Columbus Council #13902 will sponsor a drive-thru Shrimp & Fish Fry every Friday evening beginning Feb. 24 thru March 31. Plates will be “to go only” starting at 3:30-7:15 p.m. (or until sold out). Plates will consist of fried shrimp, fried fish, beans, slaw and french fries. Cost will be $12 per plate. Plates can be picked up in a drive-thru lane behind the Westphalia Parish Hall, 3000 State Highway 320, Westphalia. Proceeds support the KC’s charity goals for the year.
Chamber raffle
Marlin Chamber 2023 Raffle tickets are on sale. First prize is a 40” Full HD Television, Second Prize is a Home Theater Projcetor and Screen, Third Prize is a $50 Visa Gift Card. Drawing is on April 10. Tickets are $5 each or three for $12. Conact any Chamber officer for tickets.
Story Time
Children’s Story Time returns to the Marlin Library on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.
American Legion
Falls County American Legion Post 31 meets the second Monday of the month at 1 Mesquite Tree Lane at 6 p.m. Their phone number is (254) 883-5056.
Marlin senior center
Marlin Senior Center hosts dominoes from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday and Thursday; Bingo from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday. The Jamboree is held every third Saturday from 6-9 p.m. There is no admission fee. The building is also available for rent. The fee is $200 a day and a $100 deposit.
Veterans Assistance
Caritas of Waco Inc. will be in Marlin every first and third Monday of the month as part of their Veterans Case Management Program: Assistance For Veterans / Outreach. After School Program
The Boys & Girls Club of Falls County has an after school program that offers things such as homework help, health and life skills, and individual tutoring. It is $20 per child. NAACP
NAACP will meet every fourth Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. at the Falconer Stamp Center on Durr Street.
Lions Club meeting
Lions Club of Marlin will meet every second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 12 p.m. at the Chicken Place.
