Rotary Club of Marlin welcomes Falls County Sheriff Jason Campbell
Falls County Sheriff Jason Campbell addressed the Rotary Club of Marlin on May 14, 2025, in a program planned by Rotarian Letitia Estep, during the club’s weekly Wednesday meeting at The Chicken Place.

Towards his and his deputies’ commitment to ensuring the safety of citizens, Sheriff Campbell encouraged the public’s initiative to call for law enforcement officers if “it doesn’t look right” and there is danger. Sheriff Campbell further explained his responsibility for the county’s infrastructure and managing the county jail and its inmates. Sheriff Campbell and Deputies provide security for courtrooms and ensure the safety of judges, jurors, and staff court during proceedings. There are other responsibilities regarding the service of process.
Sheriff Campbell shared his experience as a Texas Game Warden Captain. He has put his state and federal training to use by responding to, organizing, planning and leading emergency responses for critical incidents such as Hurricane Rita, Ike and Harvey, multiple flooding responses, tornado responses, the explosion in West, and various manhunts. He has delivered supplies and conducted community caretaking functions during recent ice storms.
