SPJST LODGE DANCE
SPJST Lodge 24 will host a dance at Flag Hall in Cyclone, 411 FM 964, on Saturday, July 27 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Take a trip down memory lane with music by Vrazels’ Tribute Band. Call 254-2315348 to reserve a table or for advance tickets at $15/each. Tickets at the door will be $25/each if still available. Doors open at noon & there will be a food truck there as well.
MAESTRO SCAGGS APPRECIATION
For his direction, leadership and service, there will be a joint Musician Appreciation Service, Sunday, July 27 at 2:30 pm, honoring Bro. Julius Scaggs. The Marlin Missionary First Baptist Church, 507 Bennett St., will be the host site. Rev. Tristan Hobbs, Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church of Thornton will be the speaker of the hour. With much of Maestro Scaggs Music Ministry rendered at the Elm Grove Baptist Church, Pastor Dr. R. C.
Thomas and the Marlin Missionary First Baptist Church, Pastor Vincent Hartsfield, he has been in the Music Ministry for at least fifty-one years.
