A Thank You From Juneteenth Organization

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our generous sponsors who made this year’s “We Got Your Back” Backpack and School Supplies Giveaway a success. Special thanks to Paul Funeral Home, Walmart #360 Marlin, the Class of 1973, former students from the Classes of 1961 and 1962, Robertson Funeral Home, Katherine Lynn, Dr. Linda Canady, the Marlin BTW Alumni Chapter, the Waco BTW Alumni Chapter, Judge Kaylah Rosas, June Paul, Dr. Wanda Stidom, Ennis and Marilyn Degrate, and the Juneteenth Organization for their incredible contributions of 200+ backpacks and school supplies.

We would also like to recognize the dedicated members of the organization who worked tirelessly to prepare the supplies: Paula Washington, Sandra Mitchell, Ennis and Marilyn Degrate, and Terrance and Debra McDavid.

Additionally, we extend our gratitude to MISD for allowing “We Got Your Back” to partner with the Back-to-School Bash to distribute backpacks to students in need. Your support helps ensure our youth are prepared for a successful school year.
