Falls County to Host Free Trash Day in Marlin and Lott on Dec. 6

Falls County residents will have an opportunity to dispose of unwanted items free of charge during the county’s upcoming Free Trash Day on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 8 a.m. to noon or until dumpsters are full.

The event will be held at two locations: the Falls County Jail Site, 2847 Hwy. 6 in Marlin, and the Waste Collection Station, 330 S. Hwy. 77 in Lott.

Residents must show proof of Falls County residency to participate. Accepted items include batteries, appliances, and brush no larger than 3 inches in diameter.

Items not accepted include tires, chemicals, hazardous waste, and roofing materials.
