Thompson to be Ordained to Priesthood in Marlin

The Rev. Michael E. Thompson will be ordained to the priesthood at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Marlin.

The Right Rev. Brian R. Seage, bishop assistant of Texas, Diocese of Texas, will officiate the service.

The ordination will take place at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 514 Carter St., Marlin. A reception will follow. Clergy are invited to attend and are asked to wear red stoles.

Organizers said prayers and presence are requested for the occasion.
