Basketball Weekly for Central Region

Basketball playoffs are in full swing for both the girls and boys.

Cameron

The Yoemen (13-16, 5-7) fell to Little River Academy 59-43 to wrap-up district play last Tuesday.

Thorndale

The Bulldogs (27-4, 12--0) are ranked #8 in the state in 2A by the TABC. They defeated Milano 74-29 in the final district game of the season. The boys played Bloomington on Monday, Feb. 23, at 6:00 p.m at Giddings High School for the Bi-District title.

The Lady Dogs (21-15, 8-4) fell to Schulenberg 5529 in the Bi-District Championship last week.

Milano The Eagles (3-18, 3-8) fell to Thorndale 74-29 in their last district game.

Rosebud-Lott

The Cougars (18-13, 66) defeated McDade 98-54 to wrap-up their season last Tuesday.

The Lady Cougars (1913, 8-4) fell to Flatonia in the Bi-District Championship at Caldwell High School on Monday night, Feb. 16, 83-33.

Marlin

The Bulldogs (15-17, 11-1) beat Bruceville-Eddy 82-54 last Tuesday. The boys played Kerens in the Bi-District Championship at Navarro on Tuesday night, Feb. 24 The Lady Bulldogs (2310, 11-1) defeated Mildred 63-36 in Bi-District and La-Poynor 55-47 in Area this past week. The girls played Woden in the Regional Semi-Final at Palestine High School at 6:30 p.m on Tuesday, Feb. 24.

Chilton

The Pirates (15-8, 10-2) played Frost in the Bi-District Championship earlier this The Lady Pirates (21-13, 8-4) fell to Frost 34-30 in the Bi-District Championship on Monday night, Feb. 16.
