Marlin Youth Athletic Commission Hosts Free Football and Cheer Camp
The Marlin Youth Athletic Commission recently hosted its Free “Bring’in tha Bite” Football and Cheer Camp, bringing together approximately 100 young athletes from the community for a day focused on development, teamwork, and leadership.
The camp provided a valuable opportunity for youth participants to strengthen their athletic abilities while learning the importance of discipline, commitment, and character. Football players spent the day working on fundamentals and skill development, including drills focused on footwork, positioning, ball handling, and overall game preparation.
At the same time, the cheer participants focused on learning basic cheers, formations, teamwork, and confidence- building exercises that help prepare them for the upcoming season. The event was organized by the Marlin Youth Athletic Commission and led by Ronte and Donte Crump, along with Football Operations Officer Dre Maxwell, whose leadership and dedication helped make the camp a major success for the youth of Marlin and surrounding communities.
Marlin Youth Athletic Commission continues to focus on building strong student-athletes by promoting academic excellence, high character, and athletic development both on and off the field.
As a proud member of AAU Sports, Marlin Youth Athletic Commission will be participating in Fall Youth Football and Cheer and looks forward to continuing to provide opportunities for young athletes to grow and compete at a high level.
