Oil Leak Reported in Falls County

An oil leak was reported in Falls County this week, with over 5,000 barrels of crude oil spilling or leaking near Rosebud.
The incident occurred on County Road 343, south of County Road 347, FOX 44 first reported. Nobody was reported as injured and cattle in the area were moved, according to the Rosebud Volunteer Fire Department.
The Falls County Sheriff’s Office, Temple Fire & Rescue, Texas Department of Public Safety, and volunteer fire departments from Chilton, Rosebud, Lott and Marlin assisted in the cleanup.
