Addie Ray Hearsley (Butler) Hill

Mrs. Addie Ray Hearsley (Butler) Hill passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, in Corpus Christi.  

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 11 a.m. at South Union Missionary Baptist Church, Marlin. Interment at Falls County Cemetery.  Public viewing will be held, Friday, March 5, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home.  Masks are required and social distancing will be practiced.

Mrs.  Hill was born as a twin on April 3, 1941, to Percy Dee and Savannah Hearsley(Washington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy Dee and Savannah Hearsley (Washington); step-father, T.L. Washington; Berenice Welch, Isabella Crothers, George Hearsley and John Dee Hearsley, Hattie Mae Mitchell (twin); daughter, Doris Barnett; son, Wilford Dee Hearsley; grandchildren, Phillip “Q” and Zacharias Taylor, Ahful Butler Jr., Willie James Hill; acquired son, Daryl Butler Sr.

Addie leaves to cherish her memory, Janet (Leroy) Roberts, Angela (Benjamin) Brown, Ernest (Andrea) Hearsley and Donnie (Sue) Butler; acquired children, Anniece Butler, Linda (Alvin) Jimmerson, Sharon Butler, Justine (Cheryl) Butler, Ahful (Judie) Butler, Norris (Demetri) Jackson, Rev. Riddley (Tommy) Rich Jr.,  Patsy (George) Evans; a special niece, Georgia Mae (Manual) Davis;16  grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
