Betty Jean Pierce

A Celebration of Betty Jean Pierce’s life, age 84, of Jasper, will be at 11 a.m.  on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin.

Betty was a native of Billington and a former resident of Marlin, where she attended school. She has been a resident of Jasper since 1992. Betty enjoyed sewing, crossword puzzles, playing Sudoku and working outside building things.

Betty is survived by her son, Mike Pierce and his wife Brenda of Jasper; three brothers, Donald Easter and his wife Nell of Robinson, Bobby Easter and his wife Pat of Henderson, and Larry Easter and his wife Suzie of Marlin; sister, Wanda Seale and husband Benny of Dayton; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Earl and Katie Pearl Easter; her husband, David Andrew Pierce Sr.; son, David Andrew Pierce Jr.; and her brother, Wilmer Easter.
