Billy Jack Adams Jr.

Billy Jack Adams Jr. went to be with the Lord on Dec. 10, 2021. 

Billy was born on June 6, 1947, in Brownwood. He was the son of Billy Jack and Mary Lee Adams. He was raised in Central Texas with his sister, Kathy, and his brother, Larry. 

Billy was an adventurous boy who loved the outdoors and scouting where he earned the prestigious Eagle Scout Rank at age 12. In High School, Billy was a multi-sport, talented athlete who competed at the Texas State Championships in both Football and Tennis. He graduated from Marlin High School and later attended the University of Houston, earning his BS in Business Administration/Finance.

In 1969, B.J. married the love of his life, Connie, and started his family and career in Houston. An entrepreneur at heart, he worked in real estate, property management and other small businesses, but BJ was most passionate about his loving family. He enjoyed spending time with his family in the outdoors, which included fishing, crabbing, hunting, gardening or watching his kids play sports.

B.J. was preceded in death by his father, Billy Jack Adams Sr., and his brother, Larry Dean Adams. 

B.J. will be greatly missed and is survived by his wife of 52 years, Connie Adams; and their daughter, Sara Thetford, her husband Travis and their three children, Jackson, Hannah and Audrey; their son, Seth Adams, his wife Katy and their four children, Daniel, Joseph, Amy and Adeline; their daughter, Jenny Milnes, her husband Jamie and their two children, Georgie and Ollie; their son, John Adams, his wife Amy and their five children, Bella, Sophie, Sam, Mason and Madison; his mother, Mary Lee Adams; and his sister, Kathy Wachel.
