Charlene Tindle Hudgens

Charlene Tindle Hudgens of Lott, Texas, passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 85. Charlene was born in Westphalia, Texas, and graduated High School in Lott, Texas. Charlene married her high-school sweetheart, Albert L "Cotton" Hudgens, in July of 1953. They lived in Seguin, Texas for many years' where she worked at The First National Bank before moving back to her hometown of Lott, Texas. Charlene worked for The Marlin National Bank before retiring and leaving the banking business after 28 plus years.

 Charlene was preceded in death by husband Albert L. "Cotton" Hudgens, son James Philip Hudgens, Grandson Jason Clark, parents Charles Preston Tindle and Lena B Tindle. She is survived by daughters Kay Sehon husband Roy Lynn Sehon from Lott, Texas, Holly Clark husband Adam Ruiz Jr. from Port Arthur, Texas, and Linda Jones husband Carl Jones from Lott, Texas.

 5 Siblings; Joyce Collier, Bo Tindle, Annita Tindle, Peggy Shrum, and Butch Tindle.

 12 Grandchildren; Ryan Stowe, James Hudgens, Justin Hudgens, Casey Krumnow, Albert Evans, Chase Evans, Nathan Clark, Gared Clark, Cassie Wachtendorf, Savannah Reason, Courtney Watkins, and McKenna Jones.

 25 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many many dear friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 16 at 1:00pm at First Baptist Church of Lott. The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Clover Hill Cemetery Association P.O. Box 326 Lott, Texas.

 Charlene never met a stranger and had life-long friends whom she loved and cared for like family. She had the bluest eyes that sparkled when she smiled. A smile that will long be remembered by those left behind. She was an organizer and had every detail lined out...all but how to go on without her.
