Charles CCharlie or Chuck” Lloyd Parsons Jr.,73, of Rosebud passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 due to a long fight with Cancer.

A memorial service will be held by his family at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Nolan Valley Baptist Church at 13206 F.M. 93 in Belton with gathering of family and friends to follow. ChuckCs wishes were to be cremated and his ashes cast into the Gulf of Mexico in Padre Island.

Charles Lloyd Parsons Jr. was born on March 11, 1943 to Charles and Geraldine Woodland in Marlin. He was the oldest of seven very close and cherished brothers and sisters. Chuck served in the U.S. Navy from 1961- 1965 and was a sailor on the USS Ranger. He worked most of his life in the building material and lumber industry. Chuck loved cooking and he even owned a restaurant in Marlin in the 80’s called the Fireside Inn and also the Samsuzy in Rosenberg in the 90’s.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Linda Susan Deleon Parsons; his son, Charles “Chad” Lloyd Parsons III; his daughter, Camille Lindsey Parsons Klingenberg ;his step-daughter, Kimberly Sue Perez and seven beloved grandchildren.

Arrangements are entrusted to Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton.
