David Louis “Skinner” Sullivan

David Louis “Skinner” Sullivan, 56, of Marlin, passed away on Nov. 10, 2021, in a Waco hospital.  

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 15, 2021, at Wortham Bend Cemetery. The family received visitors from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14, at Adams Funeral Home.

Mr. Sullivan was born on July 6, 1965m in Waco, to Jerry and Rosemary (Wortham) Sullivan. On Oct. 15, 2009, he met Danielle Byers the love of his life.  He was a jack of all traits. David loved going to the ocean, riding motorcycles and driving his cattle truck but his true love was his grandkids.  His father preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Danielle; mother and step father, Billy and Rosemary Ficke; sisters, Sandra Killough and her husband John, Patricia Solberg and her husband Carl, and Sherri Lynn Osborn; brothers-in-law,   Don Byers and his wife Gina, Doug Byers, David Byers and his wife Karole, and Dennis Byers and his wife Lisa; sister-in-law, Deanne Piatek; mother-in-law, Rosie Sorenson; stepson, Colton Van Norman; granddaughters, Marlee and Emma Van Norman; sons, Zachary and Micha Sullivan; daughter, Paige Sullivan; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
