Doris Mildred Yarborough

Doris Mildred Yarborough, age 93, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2021, in Marlin. 

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 16, 2021, at Mart Cemetery in Mart, with Reverend Billie Brott officiating

Doris was born on July 8, 1928, in Ben Hur to Frank and Eula Cooper. She was a longtime resident of Marlin. 

Doris worked as a waitress, and a homemaker.  Doris enjoyed collecting Knick-knacks, dancing and shopping. Most of all, spending time with family, and especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her daughter, Jeannie Rogers of Waco; son, Steven Yarborough and wife Penny of Georgetown; daughter, Doris (Waddy) Howell of Mart; grandchildren, Billy Howell of Mart, Donna Shanks of Richardson, Luke Jacobsen of Plano, Crystal Mateer and husband, Zach of Hutto, and Derek Jacobsen of Wylie; and eight great-grandchildren.
