Emilie Ann Skala

Emilie Ann Skala, 28, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, formerly of Rosebud, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, in a Tulsa hospital. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. The Rev. Billy Ray Crow is officiating. Burial will follow in Walkers Creek Cemetery near Cameron.

Miss Skala was born Aug. 7, 1990, in Temple to Bobby and Letha Kerns Skala. She lived in Rosebud most of her life. She graduated from Rosebud-Lott High School in 2008 and attended Temple College. She played softball for the Lady Cougars and with several select softball teams in the state. She never met a stranger. She had a smile of sunshine, heart of gold and an infectious laugh.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her mother, Letha Skala of Rosebud; one sister, Amberly Skala of Rosebud; three brothers, Levi Skala, Gage Skala, and Aiden Skala, all of Rosebud; grandmother, Dorothy Skala of Rosebud; and dear friend, Sara Panther of Tulsa, Okla.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
