George Braswell

George Braswell, 85, of Chilton, passed away peaceful surrounded by family and his loving wife Linda Braswell, Wednesday January 30, 2019. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday February 2nd at Marlin Restoration Branch Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

In his early years Mr. Braswell served his country in the Air Force then as a dedicated citizen he served the Falls county area for 40+ years as Owner/ Operator of his Heating and Air Conditioning business. When he had leisure time he would spend it with his family traveling to Flea Markets to find treasures. He best “find” at a flea market visit was his dog Buster whom he loved. He also enjoyed working in the yard. This March would mark 27 years of marriage to his dedicated and loving wife Linda Braswell.

George Braswell was preceded in death by his parents Edward George and Mary Ellen Braswell; brother Bart Collier and sisters Francis Kubiak, Lena Pearl Reneau, Rosie Palmer; and first wife Shirley Patton Braswell who passed away in 1990.

He leaves behind his wife Linda Braswell; son George Braswell Jr. and wife Donna; daughter Debra Vanegas and husband Miguel; step daughter Laura Portillo and husband James; step son Roy Sehon and wife Kay; grandson Alex Portillo; granddaughter Randi Ruiz and husband Adan; great granddaughter Myla Portillo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
