Gloria Ann Pineda was born on Dec. 27, 1951, in San Antonio, and passed away on Oct. 20, 2020, in Marlin, and is under the care of Adams Funeral Home.

Gloria Pineda was a devoted military wife to her husband, Felipe Pineda serving in the Marine Corps. As a loved mother she leaves behind a legacy of memories with her children, Herlinda Pineda, Christina Mendez, and Felicia Pineda.

She was a strong housewife that was the heart of the home that welcomed everyone with open arms. She loved spending time her family, tending to her flowers and plants, dancing with her husband, and watching her favorite novellas.

She will be laid to rest alongside her husband Felipe Pineda at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery in San Antonio.

Services for Gloria Ann Pineda will be Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020, at 11 a.m. at  First Baptist Church in Marlin with Minister Patrick Pineda officiating.

A visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m.  Monday, Oct. 26, 2020, at 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Marlin.

Burial will be Thursday at 10 a.m. October 29, 2020 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Felipe Pineda; parents, Jacob and Josie Nuncio; sister, Trini Rodriguez; and brother, Jacob Nuncio.

She is survived by her children: Herlinda and husband, Christina Mendez, Felicia and David Cleveland; grandchildren: Vanessa Mendez, Fernando Mendez and Anna Mendez, Crystal Chavez and Chris Chavez, Daniel Ocampo, Brianna Ocampo, Joseph Ocampo, Martin Ramirez and Jessica Ramirez, Marissa Ramirez, Monique Ramirez, Mariah Pineda, and Isaiah Cleveland; great-grandchildren: Julianna Mendez, Giovanni Mendez, Josiah Mendez, Lucio Salas Jr., Jayden Chavez, Xavier Chavez, Maleah Chavez, Adriana Leyo, Aryana Leyo, Aniya Leyo, Miranda Ramirez and Julian Ramirez; brothers and sisters: Andrew Nuncio and wife, Linda Alverado, Madie Nuncio, and Bert Nuncio; brothers and sisters-in-law: Diana Fox Richard and Patricia Ayala, Judge and Maria Pineda, Patrick and Joyce Pineda, Jessie and Yolanda Moreno, Ester and Joe Mango, and Lios Pineda; Roberto Ocampo (son-in-law); and many numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
