Jerry Mack Garrison

Memorial Service will be October 11, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Lott, Texas Memorials are to be made to the Charity of your Choice. 

He's gone to be with his Heavenly Father. Jerry Mack Garrison, 79. died Friday, August 28, under the 'Friday Night Lights.'' in Waco, Texas. Jerry was born in Levelland, Texas, to Earl Wesley and Sara Odelene with brothers Joe and Bob and sister, Joan. Graduating as all state football player from Levelland High School, the Class of '59, he entered Texas Tech to play ball. He left Tech his senior year to begin work in radio broadcasting with his brothers. He owned and operated KEYE in Perryton, Texas and then owned and operated KLMT in Marlin, Texas. After selling KLMT, Jerry completed his degree and teacher certification in 1989 and began his teaching career. Sports were an important part of Jerry's life from playing to coaching Little League for 18 years. He loved teaching, all Texas Tech sports, golf, gardening AND music of all genre, 

He was a devoted husband who was extremely proud of his sons and all of his grandchildren. He loved seeing each grow and develop into the individuals they are today. The family would like to thank each person for every act of kindness shown during Jerry's illness. Your love and concern has been a source of strength. 

Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann, 3 sons Chris (Amy), David (Elizabeth), Michael (Abhy), 6 grandchildren Lillian, Sarah, Violet, Harper, Evie and Charlie Mack, sister Joan (Charles) and 10 nieces and nephews.
